AP Computer Science A Senior Project
This project was completed throughout April and May of 2019 during my time as a student in AP CSA. Using 2d arrays, I created a modified version of snake that sped up over time instead of building a longer snake, with random leveling and a “hacked egg” particle that automatically played the game with a 2 ms update between frames for ~20 seconds to surprise the user.
It was designed to be an addicting and fun game, while also showcasing my skills in Java including demonstration of recursion, multi threading, user input, randomness, sounds, and automation of tasks.
While the source is not publicly available, you’re more than welcome to try it sometime! Just ask, and if I have my laptop, let’s play a few rounds.
